Sila's Tree Project
As a homeless child in Kenya, our Ambassador, Sila spent much of his time under trees. His love for trees has only evolved as he started Sila's Tree Project, with the help of Green Superheroes Movement.
Sila involves entire communities and schools in his tree planting events, inspiring groups of young Green Heroes, and tackling the issues of biodiversity loss and soil depletion in his home country. We are currently raising money to continue these educational tree planting events, allowing comunties to come together in protecting their land.

Saving Kenya's Soil with Ianna Mallayka
Kenya's soil health crisis causes food insecurity, contributes to poverty, and costs billions annually. When learning about how food insecurity is a driving factor of violence and conflict in Kenya, Ianna Mallayka decided to take action. She founded the Ianna Mallayka Foundation, a foundation dedicated to takling Kenya's soil and plastic waste crisis head on.
Since Ianna has become a Green Superheroes Movement Ambassador, we have been able to raise money to plant native tree species that lock down moisture, prevent erosion, and ensure healthy and nutrient rich soil.
In addition to this, with the help of Green Superheroes Movement, Ianna has been able to host events to clean Victoria lake, a lake crucial to her local community.
Learn more about Ianna and her efforts to conserve Kenya's soil in our award winning documentary, Green Superheroes 2030.
